Licensing

One of the reason families choose club soccer over recreational leagues is the training their player receives.  Licensing is one way that Red Arrow SC can ensure we are delivering high quality training to our athletes.  We encourage our coaches to obtain the appropriate USSF licensing for their level of play and that licensing is accomplished through the U.S. Soccer Grassroots Pathway and progresses to National D and C licenses as applicable.

The Grassroots Pathway is a new initiative from U.S. Soccer which provides more focus on the 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 levels respectively and takes place of the previous E and F licenses.  These individual modules may be taken online or in person and vary in length. You may take them in any order you wish and any format, however, if you plan on progressing to a National D license, it is required that the 11v11 AND one other course be taken in person.  Those with E and F licenses are still recognized but may need additional training to be eligible for the D course.  The Grassroots program is still in initial roll-out, but we will be following its progress.

More information on U.S. Soccer Grassroots Pathway Initiative can be found here.
