Who We Are

Our Mission

To educate, develop & encourage soccer competition in youth aged 6 to 18.

The Red Arrow Soccer Club (RASC) has been in existence since the early 1990’s and develops both select and premier level teams. The club primarily draws players from Mattawan, Paw Paw, Gobles, Lawrence, Lawton and Decatur school districts. However, players also come from Kalamazoo, Portage and other surrounding schools. RASC is a club that focuses on the best value for optimum player development by providing the best training opportunities available. When your soccer player leaves our club, they will have a strong foundation to continue with their soccer career.

What makes RASC different?

  • Trained/Licensed coaches
  • Director of Coaching
  • Individual team development and training plans
  • Training with Director of Coaching
  • Premier and select level teams
  • Excellent game field conditions

How does it work?

RASC teams typically practice two nights per week and have a game on Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons. RASC does not discourage your children from playing multiple sports, and we encourage our coaches to be understanding when scheduling conflicts may arise. RASC teams usually have eight home games and eight away games annually. The home games are played at the Kalamazoo Soccer Complex off of Drake Road. The away games may be played in Battle Creek, Portage, Kalamazoo, Plainwell, River Oaks, Sturgis, and St. Joseph among other locations. Typically, the travel time to away games is 30-60 minutes or less.

Red Arrow Soccer Club is a member of the West Michigan Youth Soccer Association (WMYSA) and all select teams play in that association. Elite teams play with the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA).

What does it cost?

The cost to play within the club is $200 per player for per season. The $200 club fee covers League dues, Club Fees, Field Rental, Referee Fees, coach’s stipend and winter indoor training with professional coaches. Tournament fees and uniforms are extra and will be determined by the club and each individual team. Some teams may require additional coaching fees and the cost will be determined by each individual team.
